Some Transactions We Have Engaged in
- From 2016 till date, HansIvan Legal Consult has as a result of a Retainer Agreement with a Client who is into real estate business, been instructed to defend and initiate suits with exposures amounting to about GH¢1,500,000.00. Most of the cases have been resolved out of Court and some are pending trial.
- From 2016 till date, HansIvan Legal Consult has been instructed by a Client who is into real estate business to defend and initiate suits with exposures amounting to about GH¢850,000.00. These cases have been resolved out of Court and some are being settled at the pretrial stage.
- From 2017 till date pursuant to a Retainer agreement with a Savings and Loans Company we have received instructions on recoveries totaling over GH ¢22,000,000.00. We have completed 5 out of 12 cases so far. Some are at various stages of trial and some would be difficult to recover due to inadequate or unenforceable security or the companies going bust with no assets left to even attach.
- In 2018, HansIvan Legal Consult was instructed by a Client (a car dealership in Ghana) to recover debts over GH¢100,000.00 from a Microfinance Company and a renowned lawyer. We have fully recovered the money due from the lawyer. We are awaiting further instructions from the Client regarding the debt owed by the Microfinance Company.
- Pursuant to an Agreement in 2018, HansIvan Legal Consult now provides company secretariat services (arranging meetings, taking minutes and filing annual returns at the Registrar Generals Department) for one of the leading advertising companies in Ghana.
- Since 2018 HansIvan Legal Consult provides company secretariat services (general filing and filing annual returns at the Registrar Generals Department) for one of the leading technology-consulting firm in Ghana.
- In 2018, HansIvan Legal Consult was instructed by a Client to recover GH ¢20,000,000.00 owed it by CDH. We successfully got CDH to get a reputable Insurance Company to issue an insurance guarantee in favour of our Client to cover the investment. On 22nd February 2019, we notified the Insurance Company of our Client’s intention to call in the guarantee before its expiry.
- In 2019, HansIvan Legal Consult was instructed by several individuals to recover debts in excess of GH¢350,000.00 from Ideal Finance Limited. Out of Court settlement is being explored for some and for others, we have received instructions to issue writs since the time period given in our demand letters have elapsed.
- In 2021, HansIvan Legal Consult was engaged as transactional advisors in an ongoing repayment of a GH¢80,000,000.00 debt owed by an Oil Marketing and Bulk Distribution Company to a Commercial Bank.
- In 2022, HansIvan Legal Consult was engaged as transactional advisors in the repayment of an GH¢8,000.000.00 debt owed by an Oil Marketing Company to a Commercial Bank.
- In 2024, HansIvan Legal Consult was engaged as transactional advisors in a US$600,000.00 bridge facility for real estate company.
- After its incorporation,HansIvan Legal Consult pursuant to a Retainer Agreement, advised the foremost and leading electronic payment aggregator in Ghana on various transactions it had entered into in furtherance of its business. HansIvan Legal Consult had also advised it in the sale of its office complex for the sum of US$1,000,000.00. HansIvan Legal Consult also provides the Company with corporate secretarial services (arranging meetings, taking minutes and filing annual returns at the Registrar Generals Department).
- A representative of HansIvan Legal Consult teamed up with other lawyers to represent and defend a Commercial Bank on debt recovery related issues. The loan recovery portfolio is GH¢15,000,000.00 About seven(7) houses were repossessed and several cases resolved by filing terms of settlement. Some of the cases are pending in the lower Courts, High Courts and Appellate Courts.
- A representative of HansIvan Legal Consult, represented and defended the now defunct KC Microfinance on matters amounting to GH¢150,000.00.
- Led a debt financing arrangement that paid off two Commercial banks the loans of two OMC's in excess of GH¢50,000,000.00.
